We did a passive renovation in our kitchenette and needed a cooktop that fit in the hole that was already there in our countertop. This one was coarsely our only option. When we moved in this lodge we had a stainless dirk frigidaire from the 1960s. It was a brute to use and decent. They must have hardened stainless knife 2x as thick as this top. When we ordered this one we had contemplation the erect importance would be at least on par with that one. For the beneficial: The stainless steel is flawless nicely. It seems to not be as pliable as other tops I have owned or toughened....
Does Frigidaire make good cooktops?
Q: I'm looking for something affordable, and Frigidaire seems to encounter up to my standards and it looks nice too, any input?
A: I have a Frigidaire array, washer and dryer, and refrigerator and have been very pleased with all my Frigidaire appliances. They are among the least expensive appliances at one's disposal but the quality seems to be there. I've had no problems at all

A: Raise the stove top and look at the sockets where the elements plug in. If one of them is bad, you'll see it right away. If you have another fundamentals the same size, plug the good one into the suspect socket. If it heats up, the element is bad.
The height of free standing ranges vary. Is the height of the cooking surface standard? ?
Q: Are the cooktops well-heeled with normal counter height even though the heights listed vary?

A: Benchmark countertop height is 36", and the cooking surface is at the same level. The cabinets are 34-1/2", and the top is built up to 1-1/2" thick. Belief this helps.
